Whats the noble gas confirguration for Sr,and Iodine?

The answers would be [Kr]5s2(if the two was written the same way as an exponent) and [Kr]4d10 5s2 5p5 (the 10, 2, and las 5 written like exponents). Sr is noted like that because it has the same electron configuration as Krypton (Kr) but it has a full s orbital in the 5th energy level on top of that. Iodine is noted that way because it has the same notation as Krypton, as well as a full d orbital in the 4th energy level, a full s orbital in the 5th energy level, and a p orbital in the 5th energy level with one unpaired electron. Hope this helps explain it for you.
