Army National Guard deployment to Iraq?

Hi, my boyfriend is deployed with the PA National Guard. On his orders it states that the period of active duty is "no more than 400 days". I was just wondering if that starts from date he reports to his home station or to the MOB station? Also, does that time include his de-mobilization? I wasn't sure. Lastly, how long does de-mobilization usually last, and does anyone know how long the transfer from Kuwait to Iraq usually takes until they are settled in their permanent room at Joint Base Balad in Iraq?
