I have a question regarding menopause???

~ for women who have experienced premenopause and menopause......is this normal...I am on a two week cycle now....and this cycle has been the worst.......full on for 8 days,,,each day is like it is the first........I wont go into detail because if you have been threw this,,,you will know,,,,but I am worried,,,is this normal??? I am 47 and wondering if this is normal....every two week cycle,,and extreamly heavy??? I am wondering if I need to go to Dr.???? I do believe I have been premenopausel for about two years now,,,,hot flashes ext......
