Playstation 3 VS Xbox 360 Poll.?

Please tell me why you think the Xbox 360 is good/bad and why the Playstation 3 is good/bad. Im trying to decide which I should get, ive got an xbox 360 elite, and really want a PS3, but my family and friends are tied, between them. So Im desperate. Please, tell me which I should get. Please tell me the + and - of each console, besides online gameplay. I cant get online so im looking for better offline games. Also, my buddy told me that Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone, Haze, are all awesome and that, that should be enough of a reason to get a PS3 alone, also I HATE HALO 3, so you can rule out that factor also. Im looking for a good offline gameplay console, with games that have good storyline, graphics, etc.. Thanks and enjoy the points.
